Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Westmeade Elementary, a school where we are proud to share the unique and rich cultures of all of our students. As our students share their stories, we are all enriched with deeper understandings of geography and shared human experience.
We hope you will be involved in our PTA and as a volunteer as time permits. You will find parents here every day volunteering in our classrooms in every capacity imaginable. We want you to be comfortable in our school and feel like you are part of the education team at Westmeade.
You will find most of the information you need here to enroll your student, but if you have any questions please feel free to contact us personally. We'd love to talk further about what makes Westmeade great.
Welcome to Westmeade Elementary, home of the Dragons! Westmeade is a kindergarten through fourth-grade school nestled in a wonderful community neighborhood. At Westmeade, we strive to uphold the district’s vision of “delivering a great public education to every student, everyday.” We meet this goal by building a solid academic and social foundation to build life-long learners. We prepare our students with the skills to think critically and independently so they can become active members of their community. We believe academic and social growth go hand in hand and we are committed to developing responsible citizens.
At Westmeade, all students engage in individualized and unique learning experiences. We are dedicated to teaching the whole child. We believe each student needs a balance of art, music, academics, social-emotional learning, and physical education. In partnership with Warner Parks, students spend time in nature to inspire their natural awareness and curiosity. Additionally, we have an outdoor classroom and garden where students learn and further explore nature.
We would love to show you around Westmeade. Please feel free to stop by and see our school in action.
