Welcome From the Principal
Welcome to Hunters Lane High School. We have a great school and are very proud of our 1,700 Warriors and all that they accomplish.
When students graduate, they have experienced and learned a wealth of knowledge to prepare them for both college and career. We boast a college-bound rate of 75 percent, and our students garner millions of dollars in scholarships each year.
We encourage you to come visit and see all the great things our school has to offer. To set up a tour, please call our office or email Ethan.Hansen@mnps.org.

Hunters Lane High School boasts six Academies of Nashville: Academy of Health and Human Services; Academy of Hospitality; Academy of International Baccalaureate; Academy of Marketing and Business; Griffin Academy of Design and Technology; and Freshman Academy. Students are exposed to a large selection of choices for their coursework, which is maximized through an A/B schedule. Students take four classes on A days and four classes on B days, allowing students to earn eight credits per year.
In addition to a rigorous and expansive curriculum, which includes Advanced Placement courses and blended learning opportunities throughout the school, Hunters Lane High School offers students the opportunity to participate in multiple clubs, sports teams, music programs and more.
We help all of our students make the most of their high school education, and we work closely with business and community partners to provide hands-on experiences and training.
