Welcome to Our School
It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Fall-Hamilton Elementary. This is my second year as principal, and you can count on me to work hard as we build upon the school’s legacy of success. All of us here are committed to building strong relationships with parents, students, community partners and each other. And together, we’ll propel Fall-Hamilton from being a great school to becoming one of the best in the city.
The faculty and staff have worked hard to develop a school-wide improvement plan to address student achievement, character education, safety, discipline and attendance. We are committed to providing each child with the very best education and determined to strengthen every student’s ability to develop the skills needed to be a successful learner. The children of Fall-Hamilton are our hope for tomorrow and our responsibility for today.
As principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input.
Fall-Hamilton is a growing school that has been providing high-quality education to the Wedgewood-Houston community for more than 30 years. Our experienced staff and teachers are dedicated to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible. Our school offers an extended day with an additional 45 minutes of instruction during the school day and many special services that supplement our school program. These services include a Family Resource Center, a computer lab and Encore, the district’s program for gifted and talented students.
We are one of two schools in the city that are part of the Leader in Me! program. Based on the work of Stephen Covey, we teach and implement the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in every part of our school day. Through this we ensure every student in the building has the ability and opportunity for leadership. We also use data to inform instruction, consistently implement new teaching strategies to increase student achievement and provide exciting and challenging enrichment opportunities for all students.
