Our motto is “Learning today, leading tomorrow” and we all work together to make sure our students are empowered to do just that. I invite you to read on, learn more about us, and if you’d like, call and request a tour of our school. I’m confident you’ll discover why being part of the OCES family is so rewarding.

Pathways

School Description

Old Center Elementary is full of opportunities for our Pre-K - 4 students to learn, grow and engage. Our students, parents, teachers and community leaders work collaboratively to provide a nurturing, supportive learning environment.

In addition to a day of learning literacy, math and related arts, our students can participate in extracurricular art programs to fuel their creative thinking. We provide tutoring to our students, as well as before and aftercare. Encore is a program for our gifted students, providing them with specialized lessons that challenge their thinking. To keep our students moving, our physical education program coordinates fun, active events like Field Day and the Bear Walk.

Our 4th-grade students have the unique opportunity to participate in our School Safety Patrol and Disney performance programs, giving students the opportunity to show their talents in school leadership or the arts, all while setting a great example for our younger students.
