Welcome From the Principal

Celia Conley Principal

Celia Conley
Principal

It is with great pleasure that I serve my third year as executive principal at Antioch Middle Prep! I am honored to serve such a diverse and unique student body. Our teachers are dedicated and committed to provide high-quality instruction and unparalleled support to our students every day.  I am excited to announce that our school is now an AVID and STEAM school!  We are increasing rigor for ALL students by incorporating the Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) college success system! Our instructional curriculum will be enhanced with a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics lens, to prepare students for 21st Century skills and careers.

In order for our students to succeed, we also need your commitment by attending parent events, reviewing homework and progress reports, and encouraging your child to read DAILY. We welcome you to come visit us and see the great things that are happening at Antioch!

School Description

Antioch Middle Prep is a diverse school that invokes a sense of family and pride with our students and staff. We utilize a team-based approach when developing interventions and resolving student issues.  Students are placed on two-teacher teams for 5th and 6th grade, for a small-community feel.

We are pleased to offer our students enriching experiences that they would not find elsewhere, such as biweekly clubs, Restorative Peer Court, 2:1 technology devices, STEAM programming, AVID college success system, and Honors Reading courses.  Our renovated campus includes two gyms, tennis courts, and a football stadium.

We are a Community Achieves school, and have a dedicated site team member that coordinates supports and events for family and community members.  We are developing a PTO and Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students), and welcome you to join us!  We are a school on the move!
