Principal

Welcome to Amqui Elementary, home of the Tigers! Whether you’re a current parent or a prospective one, we’re glad you’re here to check out what our school offers.

It is my expectation that all Amqui students will graduate from high school and be prepared to attend college or tackle the career of their choice. We work hard every day to put our students on those paths, and at the center of our efforts is literacy.

At Amqui, we have an open-door policy because we value parental involvement. There are many ways to get involved, so be on the lookout for opportunities to serve. One of them is by supporting our literacy efforts at home. Together, we can help make your students great readers.

School Description

Diverse, vibrant, energetic, creative: These are just a few words that could describe the typical student at Amqui Elementary. Tucked back in the hills of Madison, Amqui puts individualized learning at the center of everything we do. Here, students receive small-group instruction throughout the day to ensure they master key skills and state standards.

Amqui Tigers utilize technology and participate in hands-on activities to help make them college- and career-ready. In related arts, students rotate through physical education, art and music in order to help develop well-rounded citizens. Unique to Amqui, our related arts rotation also include a writing lab.

Not only do we educate the child, but we also focus on developing them socially and emotionally. Our school is also proud of its open-door policy: We value parental involvement and want to encourage our parents to volunteer.
